Black and White Photography Love

To end off this little series of black and white appreciation, I would like to share some of the best black and white photography I have found online over the last few months. I love how a lack of colour almost makes them more striking. We all know it's a flattering effect, but besides that.. it lends more to the imagination and adds a really classic touch, whether legitimately taken a long while ago, or not.

These first two are both NYC photographer James Jowers 1960's-70's:

A Selection of Ethereal Photos

Here are some floaty, interestingly lit photos that i fffound today. While we're on the theme of random, I realised a few things this weekend. The first, is that I am currently poor. How did I come to this conclusion? Well, I was out with friends and a nice young man decided to speak to me. Conversation was pleasant but I found myself distracted. By what you may wonder? A. R2 coin. Next to his foot. Yes. That's right. A COIN.

The second realisation was that I want to travel. These two things do not work well together: poverty and the intense desire to travel. Ick. So, a lot of hard work is ahead of me to make this happen but oh the excitement! So enough rambling, here are those photos. Enjoy*
